Armenia Bulgaria – how it began…

On September 2012 when armenian national team and fans arrived Bulgaria for the WC qualifying match, armenian fans got attacked on the street by bulgarian fans and even by police before and after the match, and during the match they made rassistic statements towards armenians and threw dangerous things on them (a small scene in this video), even the bulgarian national team with his trainer didn’t stay calm. From the begin on bulgarian players, logically in order of their trainer, played “DIRTY” football trying to stop armenian players kicking mostly on their feet which ended with a serious injury of armenian best left defender who needed 11 months to recover. Even the ball giving boys were intervered into the provokation play by bulgarian team. In the second half, when Armenia was losing 0:1 every time when they had to throw the ball in from the side line, the ball boys did their job very slowly, sometimes 2 of them at the same time giving the ball very slowly to the armenia players. In the end one of armenian players lost his nerve and hit the ball with little power towards the the ball boy. It was of course not OK what he did and he himself apologized to the ball boy and to all people who saw it. There was also a fight between players when Mkhitaryan lost his nerve and tried to foul back to one of bulgaria players which looked more intentionally. But this all happened due to the provocation of bulgarian team and his fans. In the end Armenia left the field with 2 red cards, 3 yellow cards and one long-time injured player in compare to one yellow-red and one red for the goalkeeper on bulgarian side but it was armenian team who had the huge part of the damage which had a very bad effect when Armenia also lost the next 3 home games in the row playing with half of the bench players in these matches due to suspensions and injuries.
One year later armenian fans came to give Bulgarias “warm” welcome back but while armenian fans haven’t forgotten that match in Bulgaria one year ago many bulgarian fans are wondered why their squad had such a “great” welcome in Armenia.

  1. First off, calling me a dumb shit is only proving your "intelligence". Second off, these stats are taken from the 2011 national census. Third off, I don't need an article written by a random person on the internet telling me where the gypsies came from. I've studied history (unlike you). History lesson: Gypsies came from South India around 1000 years ago and settled in Eastern Europe. Then they spread all over Europe. Armenia happened to be in Asia, that's why you don't have that many gypsies.

  2. Wikipedia isn't a trusted source.

Here's the source I remember using:

news (dot) softpedia (dot) com / news / Where-Do-Gypsies-Come-From-72231.shtml

Regardless of the numbers, what's interesting is that there ARE gypsies in Bulgaria while there are almost NONE in Armenia…and yet Bulgarian fans decided to start calling Armenians "gypsies" during the first match…funny shit.

  3. Ethnic groups (2011[1])
    84.8% Bulgarians[hide]
    8.8% Turks
    4.9% Roma
    0.1% Russians
    0.1% Armenians
    1.3% Others

Do you actually think no one can go to wikipedia and see what ethnic groups there are in Bulgaria? And there 7.7% Indians and Pakistani in the UK, does that mean that english are pakistani? Your arguments are no better than any natioanlistic bulgarian here.

  4. Holland was ranked 8th in Europe at the time of that match on the FIFA standings, and is ranked 9th currently, you dumb Turd. Of course, Turds are the best in terms of telling lies 😉

  5. How does my logic fail? I wasn't talking about the past, I was talking about the present…FAIL. About 15% of Bulgaria's population are gypsies, so again, I wouldn't be talking LOL!

  6. Sorry, your logic fails you again. Gypsies are tribes FROM ASIA that came into established European societies and refused to accept European civilization and values.

  7. Maybe we are and we don't know it? Maybe only Bulgarians are aware of this "fact." The actual facts are these: there are very few ethnic Roma (Gypsies) in Armenia and hundreds of thousands in Bulgaria. Now I haven't met any so I'm going to refrain using it as an insult like so many Bulgarians and other Europeans like to do.

  8. Let me ask you this…where do you find gypsies? In Europe, right?

Where's Armenia on the map? A: Asia

Where's Bulgaria on the map? A: Europe

    So STFU you sore loser.

  9. Let Bulgarian crazy fans watch this video and they will understand why we met their players in such manner on Yerevan airport. We don't have any negative opinion about Bulgarians, but the ugly actions against Armenian players and fans in Sofia give birth to the corresponding reaction.
    Cheers!

  10. Ur video showing the reaction of our fans after the second red card! You forgot to say why.. check this video and start from 09:15 /watch?v=WhPSmwq4msQ
And once again, your video showing the reaction of our fans after the second red card that received the armenian team!
