T1 (formerly SK Telecom T1) is a professional esports organization. Originally founded in Korea in 2002 as Brood War team Orion by BoxeR before being title-sponsored by SK Telecom in 2004, they are mainly known for their StarCraft division’s exploits and their three-time World Champion League of Legends division. By 2019, they had also entered into Artifact and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and on August 22nd, they announced their entry into DotA 2 by signing Forev, making them just the second of the old KespA organizations to open a DotA division and the first Korean organization to do so since MVP Phoenix disbanded after TI6.
